Why We Love Anais Anette: Made-in-Canada Bridal Fashion

Sustainable. Intentional. Local.

Each Anais Anette gown is cut, sewn, and designed in Canada.

THE STORY BEHIND ANAIS ANETTE : Female-owned, Canadian bridal icons.

Born from a lifelong love of craftsmanship, Anais Anette began in 2013 when sisters Magdalena and Karolina returned to their family roots in dressmaking. After pursuing degrees in graphic design and interior design, the sisters combined their creative backgrounds with their family’s tradition of tailoring to create something entirely their own.

The brand first made its mark here in Calgary, with its flagship boutique designed around a simple idea: bridal shopping should feel personal, relaxed, and genuinely exciting. The boutique was created to give brides an intimate experience while discovering gowns that felt like an authentic reflection of who they are.

Today, Anais Anette has grown beyond its Alberta beginnings, with its gowns crafted by a close-knit team of artisans in the brand’s Canadian studio. The sisters continue to focus on timeless silhouettes, thoughtful details, and customization. Every collection is curated and intimate– creating gowns that feel effortless, modern, and completely personal to the woman wearing them.

At its heart, Anais Anette is about modern bridalwear that doesn’t try too hard: effortless, timeless, with just the right touch of fun and flirt. It’s Canadian-made, intentionally designed, and created for the bride who wants to feel like herself—just a little more bridal.

The Celestial Collection.

“For the bride who doesn’t follow stars - she is one.”

The Celestial collection is Anais Anette’s newest array of bridalwear, shining an ode to the stars. Each gown encapsulates a perfectly imperfect amount of symmetry, simplicity, juxtaposed with structure and boldness. Silky satin, dropped waists, lace accents, they have so much personality and elegance.

During our most recent trunk show in the fall of 2025, brides were especially loving the Gemini gown. A beautiful silky, draped silhouette from the front, with a daring cutout to further snatch the waist. This continues around the back for a dazzling beaded lace back. This intentional balance of simplicity and sparkle captures the collection’s essence: a seamless juxtaposition of understated elegance and playful personality. Because why choose between the two when your gown can embody both?

A Bridal Boutique Favourite

The Sandro- we’ll never get over her.

Here at The Bridal Boutique, we can all agree: our favourite Anais Anette gown is undoubtedly the Sandro from the Aura Collection.

Sandro is a stunning mermaid silhouette, featuring a crepe base with the daintiest floral lace delicately draped over top. And somehow, she gets even better the longer you look. It is one of our favourite gowns to pull as a “wild card” for our brides, as it is truly in its own category.

Her beauty is all in the details: from the striking plunging neckline to the way the lace subtly peeks through at the front and back. The straps taper perfectly into a completely exposed back, where a peek-a-boo lace detail cascades effortlessly into the waistline for a delicate, yet snatched look. It’s understated, yet entirely distinctive. Simple at first glance, but full of little surprises that make her anything but ordinary.

Safe to say, she’s stolen our hearts. We’re obsessed.

The Anais Anette Bride

We have, and always will, love an Anais Anette bride.

When a stylist pulls an Anais Anette gown for a bride, her story is already beginning to tell itself. The Anais Anette bride is drawn to simplicity, with just the right hint of sexy. She’s confident, comfortable in her own skin, and never afraid to show a little skin—whether through a sculpted silhouette, plunging V-neck, or sheer bodice.

But there’s more to her than that. She has a deep appreciation for timelessness, but never wants to feel predictable. She’s looking for a gown that feels effortless and refined, with a little something unexpected. This is Anais Anette's specialty: through delicate lace cutouts, elegant open backs and an extended lace train, they have a unique way of feeling so personal when a bride falls in love with an AA gown.

Simple, but never boring. And more often than not, she’s drawn to the outdoors. We find Anais Anette brides saying “I do” surrounded by natural beauty, choosing gowns that feel in conversation with their surroundings. A subtle nod to nature, whether she’s exchanging vows beneath an open sky or against the backdrop of the Rocky Mountains.
